'Blackie' 2008-10. Oil-gloss-enamel, tape on canvas
Based on an arial view of chairs and a table set out for a meeting at the Blackie community centre in Liverpool. The Blackie piece took a long time to resolve, I kept moving the chairs around, as one does in life.

Pabell-Tent-Lloches-Shelter
Thin material to enclose maximum space. Its function - a sudden need for shelter, cities of tents provided by aid agencies, extemporised tents sourced from the detritus of disaster.
